The use of 3d software more and more widely along with the manufacturing growing prosperity, then many enterprises developed there own model base. As the development of the computer network technology, the CAD/CAM technology based on network will become the direction of future software. The development of the Internet makes the different regions, different industry communication with each other become possible. The use of network virtual display technology makes the liberation of the user from pure 2d browse. The user can observe the internal and external characteristics of the product and access to information of it immediacy by the operation of zooming, mobile and rotating. The subject puts forward new ideas of a web-based virtual model base of electromechanical universal parts products and Real-time interactive system, and attempted it preliminary, after the analysis of the situation and shortcomings of current model base and combined with the development of the Internet.Built the model using three-dimensional modeling software, In order to enhance realism, maps and render the model in 3Dmax and import Cult 3D Designer to editor from Cult 3D Exporter plugin. Settings interactive events and build the Java code development environment in Cult 3D, constructing the interactive online display model of the universal parts.Using Windows XP as platform, based on B/S (Browser/Server) mode, set data according to server-side scripting technology and the principle of ASP database access, create the connection between the web pages and database. This model base system is divided into three levels structure: Network database, Logic layer, Application layer, application layer. In order to adapt to the modularized design the application layer use the modular design.Design the Web page and Web application program by using Visual studio, C# language and JavaScript scripting. The whole system can realize the function of product search, interactive browsing, download, online order and the management and maintenance for the base through the network environment. Realize the function of model drag download by writing a JavaScript scripting language. User can drag the model directly to the assembly environment of 3d software then can set the benchmark and constraint conditions assembly.The system achieved the aim of online interactive browse and drag download and online order online under the limited bandwidth of net. Its not only provide convenience for user shortened the product development cycle, but also provide the service of display and selling products for parts businessman. The system is free to individual user (mainly for mechanical designer), to attract many users, the businessman have to buy the right of use to maintain the operation of the system. The use of system provides a new platform for sharing CAD information online to the user, so the system has a broad prospect of application.
