Ground station is the essential component for unmanned tiltrotor monitoring and control. Based on the analysis of tiltrotor's working characteristics and flight model during hover, raising, landing and cruise phase, and pursuit to the actual demand of real-time communication and backstage analysis of ground station, this article has designed software and hardware systems for ground station. Through the integrated use of complex geographic information system, reliable wireless data transmission, real-time data management, efficient wavelet compression and communication technology, and pragmatic man-machine integrated electromechanical design, this ground station does not only meet the function index, but also owns the advantages of flexibility in setting up and controlling the number of channels, good timeliness, convenience in obtaining information, easy to field operation and etc, laying a solid foundation for the further improvement of ground station.
