According to bionics, squeezed branch pile which was developed on the basis of constant section bored pile is a new type of reinforced concrete pile. After nearly 20 years of development, squeezed branch pile in industrial and civil building applications have become more mature, but the application in bridge engineering is still at the beginning.This thesis started from the development and research of squeezed branch pile, analyzed the characteristics of squeezed branch pile in bridge engineering, by comparing the large and small diameter of squeezed branch pile, and combined with foundation engineering in Hu tuohe bridge, summarized the design and calculating method of large diameter squeezed branch pile, and summarized construction technology, construction machinery and key point. By test pile in Hu tuohe bridge, introduced its test methods, and analyzed the test results, revealed load transfer mechanism, confirmed the feasibility and social economic benefits.The main works of the thesis are followed:First, based on a wide review of relevant, summarized the current situation and characteristics of squeezed branch pile in bridge engineering.Second, summarized the design and calculation method of large diameter squeezed branch pile by comparing the large and small diameter of squeezed branch pile.Third, analyzed the key technical problems of actual construction process, and provided an effective construction technology.Fourth, through the static load of comparative experiments, verified the effect and analyzed the vertical bearing capacity. Meanwhile, verified the calculation formula by contrast the results of theoretical calculation and actual.Fifth, analyzed the social economic benefits and indicated the next research direction.
