The firing dispersion of vertical target is an important parameter of scaling low ballistic trajectory weapon's performance. In order to satisfy the requirements of high precision of vertical target measurement in weapon development, the double CCD intersection measuring system is put forward on the analysis of test methods. And the design of the system is achieved bases on the verity of the overall. The main contents are verity of the overall scheme of double CCD intersection measuring system in room, the design of light source and research on the way to realize parameter. And last the errors analysis and experiments are completed.Based on the verity of overall system, the progress of the work and measurement and controllable parameters are determined. The system has two Dalsa-P2-04k40CCD cameras with 14mm lens forms the 1m×1m target. According to the analysis of light source including laser and retro-reflection film illumination and LED illumination, high brightness LED with cylindrical lens light source is set up. The theoretical analysis and mathematical simulation of the light source is completed. Experimental results show that the High Brightness LED with cylindrical lens light source can meet the system requirements.There are two kinds of factors affecting the vertical target coordinate. One is the error of the structural parameters measurement. The structural parameters include base line, camera's elevation, image height and focal length. Another error is that the two fan-shaped detection screens are not in the same plane. In order to cut down the system coordinate error, the parametric recognition method is put forward. With the help of the method, eight test point's coordinates on the calibrated plate and eight test point's image height can be achieved. And then the parameters will be measured.The measurement errors of system are analyzed including the error of base line, camera's elevation, image height and focal length. The mathematical model is set up for error distribution and simulation because the two fan-shaped detection screens are not in the same plane can affect the system precision. For the improvement of the precision, the parametric recognition method is proposed. With the help of the method, coordinates of eight bullets on the calibrated plate and the location on CCD are achieved. According to the key parameters, the experiments are completed by air bullets. The results show that the measurement error of vertical target coordinate is less than 2.5mm and position location is less than 3.5mm in the 1m×1m target area, which meets the requirements.
