Both vehicle braking temperature field and stress field are equally important in the friction brakes performance stability and it is important for the safety performance of vehicle. In the first, this paper summarized the method of friction brakes study and the hot forming rules in brake friction at home and abroad. According to the principle of heat transfer theory and tribological theory, we chose the carrying vehicles'drum brake as research object and established the model of structural mechanics between the brake friction pair and heat distribution. The calculation method of the various parameters which are used during the simulation of high-speed carrying cars. The thesis chose manifest vehicle drum brake friction brakes for research object and established its three-dimensional finite element model. Using adopt direct coupled method of dynamic to simulate braking system. The paper gained temperature field and stress field distribution of the inner of drum brake when the trucks are in the conditions that emergency brake, draging brake and 15 consecutive circularly braking. It is confirmed that the temperature field distribution is axisymmetric and highest temperature appeared in the friction pair. The temperature field reduced from the radial center to the outside of brake drum.Brake system layout and structure of the chassis has a direct impact on the braking performance. Paper adopts multi-objective genetic algorithm of brake performance and braking established the highest temperature brake, volume three lowest optimal objective function. Based on the structure, temperature and volume in the design process, their orientation different use three kinds optimization scheme optimization design of brake. In different weights were optimized by the parameters optimization results. Papers use diversification design provides a multi-objective optimization theory and method to optimizate brake structure. We can get the results that the different weighting factor under in the action are affect the optimized parameters each other. We should adopts the optimal structure target during actual work. This paper provides theory for the design and use of the drum brake. It should effect during the research of failure caused by crack etc.
