Yunnan is located in the western region of China,which belong to the Yunnan-guizhou plateau.The downhill road is more complicated.The special geographical location makes it become a high incidence area of traffic accidents in China,especially the heavy truck loaded with brakes.Due to various reasons,heavy duty truck overloading transportation phenomenon,overload transportation vehicles in the downhill road frequently use brake more easily lead to the brake temperature increased sharply.If the heat is too late to send out,it is bound to cause the thermal decay of braking heat,so that the loss of braking performance of the vehicle and traffic accident.Therefore,it is of great significance to use finite element method to contant mechanics analysis and thermal-mechanical coupling the brake under overland condition.This paper takes Dongfeng Dana TD485 drum brake system as an example to do the following work:The contact mechanics analysis on drum brake system,use UG to establish the brake drum,brake shoe,3D model of friction lining,and carries on the reasonable simplification,through the interface interoperability between software,into ANSYS workbench and vibraton modal analysis of contact friction.Drum brake system of the therrmal-mechanical coupling,According to the basic theory of thermodynamics,the introduction of the ADPL language to establish thermal coupled field analysis model in ANSYS workbench,using direct coupling method,contact analysis of brake friction,and brake in different initial braking speed,15 times the temperature change law of frequent braking.The results show that the temperature of the brake increases with the increase of the initial braking speed,and the highest temperature appears in the inner surface of the brake drum.The CXT-1 heavy inertia test bench,bench test is carried out on the brake under overload conditions 15 frequent braking temperature changes,and the comparative analysis of bench test data and simulation data to verify the accuracy of three-dimensional simulation model,According to the national standard《QC/T239-2015 of automobile industry》,the technical requirements and test methods of commercial vehicle driving brake,and analysis of braking effect.
