With the development of automated vehicles, automatic transmission is also used as a rapid development of new technology, there is a trend to replace manual transmission, and the traditional manual transmission operation is difficult, long driving will make the driver feel tired. These shortcomings are not overcome, manual transmission. It is these shortcomings restrict the development of the manual transmission. Automatic transmission can solve these problems, so the automatic transmission will replace the manual transmission and become the market mainstream. There are four kinds of automatic transmission: automatic transmission, continuously variable transmission, automated mechanical transmission, and double clutch transmission.Double clutch transmission as a new generation of automatic transmission automatic transmission, it became a hot point in vehicle transmission field as it incorporates the merits of Automatic Transmission, Automatic Mechanical Transmission and Continuously Variable Transmission. It inherits the advantage of Automatic Transmission and Continuously Variable Transmission, it can overcome power break down and transfer power to shelf. It also inherits the advantage of Automatic Mechanical Transmission and manual Transmission, such as high efficiency. So the double clutch automatic transmission has a good development prospects.This paper introduces the working principle of double clutch transmission, and development of it in foreign and domestic; the meaning of the reach on double clutch transmission in china and the key technologies. Double clutch transmission system has four components: torsion damper dual clutch systems, electronic control system, and hydraulic system. We carried out a detailed description and narration of the structure of each system and working principle, electronic control systems and hydraulic system control the clutch to work, torsion damper is the shock absorber. We also introduced double clutch transmission start process and add gear process and the line of power transmission.In this paper, the main work is to study the double clutch transmission hydraulic system, dual-clutch automatic transmission has two clutches, and the key technology is the clutch pressure control, while the clutch pressure is double clutch transmission from the hydraulic system of the output hydraulic decisions, so the research on hydraulic system is key searcher of double clutch transmission. In this paper, double clutch transmission hydraulic system structure and working principle are described in detail, also detailed for each hydraulic valve hydraulic system structure and working principle.The software we used is AMESim software, AMESim software is commonly used in the hydraulic system modeling software, I built model of Pulse width modulation valve, the main pressure control system, clutch cooling control system, security control system, clutch control valve with AMESim software, and analyze the simulation. Observe the effect of changing the parameters of the hydraulic system by analyzing the simulation results. Simulation results will give great help to make hydraulic system and hydraulic valve structure design perfect; simulation obtained the relationship between output pressure and input parameters, which is helpful for us to do research on clutch transmission control system.
