With the rapid development of China's economy and the acceleration of the urbanization progress, existing street traffic system still cannot satisfy the requirement that people travel needs, and our country speed up the step of building rail transit system in the urban agglomeration so as to relieve the rising traffic pressure. However, because of the densely built, the overcrowding population and the large number of traffic flow, design of the metro station has been limited by narrow building space, various surrounding pipelines, existed buildings and heavy traffic, etc. Therefore, with its unique advantage, subsurface excavation metro station become more and more in urban metro. Studying how to set subsurface excavation metro station and which principle to adopt has practical significance. At the same time, because metro station locates in special environment, it causes huge personal injury and economical loss by any carelessness in construction. Which construction technology to adopt to ensure metro station construction safe and reliable is surely significant.Therefore, it is of great significance to select the corresponding construction method to ensure the safety of metro station building process reliability by the different structure for the form of metro station。The paper collected design and construction material of 116 metro stations which have been completed or are in the processing of building at home and abroad,and made a detailed investigation on Engineering environment, structure and dimension of metro station and construction technology, etc. In the process of research, the paper first proposes the main influence factors on setting subsurface excavation metro station and analyzes every factors based on engineering project, then the comprehensive analysis was summarized by the Analytic Weight and Hierarchy Process (AWHP). At last, the paper summarizes structure styles of subsurface excavation metro station and presents a comparison of different styles. General principles of setting station and principles of choosing structure styles are presented on the basis of the mentioned above. The paper firstly summarizes commonly used construction technology of subsurface excavation metro station for choosing construction technologies by abundant investigations and classifications based on different structure styles; then,taking controlling ground displacement as the main standard and considering construction difficulty, construction period and project cost of every technology, the paper puts forward the best construction technology for some structure style and draw conclusions that center drift method should be priority for multi-arch (or a single multi-span arch) single-storey station and cavern-pile method should be preferred approach for multi-arch double-decker style station and separate single-arch double-decker style station。...
