. Based on structural dynamics,the theory of intensity,nonlinear contact theoy and optimization theory, this paper researches the static and dynamic analysis of wind turbine tower and studies the results. this thesis respectively analyzed and researched key factors effecting the tower design, such as static intensity,modal,stability,local strength. It provides scientific basis for the design of large wind turbine tower. The main contents of this paper are following:According to the theory of finite element method, the finite element model is built. The paper discusses the static strength analysis of tower in limit load case.The modal analysis can get the natural frequency and vibration mode. when changing the quality point on the top of tower, the result almost unchanged.The stability analysis of tower is investigated. the shape of the tower buckling failure is obtained. The results compare with the theoretical results calculated, show that the finite element method is reasonable.The nonlinear contact finite element method is applied to structure design of wind turbine parts, discuss the distribution of the wind turbine flanges and bolts.
