The Urban Planning Research On The Site Of Dalian Locomotive Factory Plant Based On The Theory Of Creative City

The urban is developing into a new stage with the development of world's current economic globalization. Our city is facing with opportunities and problems which are complex and diverse, many historic cities with economic base have began to adapt to the situation with new function. By this way, creative function is impetus for the development of cities, by which city can also attain rebirth. It has been confirmed in many western countries. At present, China's urban development level needs to improve, and the internal functional need replacement and adjustment in the background of China's rapid urban construction. Foreign theory and urban development experience will surely guide for Chinese urban construction which made me choose the title of my paper.Belonging to the research field of Chinese Urbanrenewa method, this paper is to sum up suitable urban planning methods for our country by studying successful cases and theory at home and abroad.The paper focuses on analyzing Creative City developing modes, combining theory of Creative City. The paper is composed of five parts. The first part is introduction which includes object of study, meanings of study and research method. The second part is feasibility study of Creative City, elucidating the feasibility of Chinese Creative City by analyzing the theory of Creative City and urban studies of Dalian. The third part is extended research of domestic and foreign cases, so as to sum up development mode.The fourth part is empirical study, which includes urban planning and analysis of the site of Dalian Locomotive Factory. The last part is research result and some additional remarks.
