Dynamometer data contains a lot of important information about the combustion process, It has always been the focus of the research that based on indicated diagram analysis of diesel combustion process, and the indicated device, the equipment of testing the dynamometer data, has always been in progress all the time. the indicated device which are used in ship is shortage, expensive,bulky and not conducive to carry,unble to real-time display the curve,based on the situation, I developed a microcontroller-based diesel engine dynamometer testing deviece.The device uses P89V51 singlechip as the microprocessor, ADC0809 as the sampling chip, the intelligent display terminal for the real-time display LCD module, and the microcontroller U disk read-write module as the storage medium, It can real-time dynamicly display the dynamometer curve and store the bulk data, as well as complete the purpose of the data collection by measuring the pressure angle singals of the marine diesel engine.At the same time, the paper also presents the method of data smoothing and equalizating, and sums up a more reasonable method of data manipulation by comparing some processing results, this paper also introduces the dynamometer TDC correction method, combined a compression line method and thermodynamic correction, we can reduce the error of TDC within 0.1℃A, finally, this paper established the mathematic model of the heat release caculation by using the Newton iteration method, and developed the interface of the diesel engine dynamometer data calculation program, and edited the data process and analysis procedures with the C# language.we can complete the pretrement of the collected data, the TDC correction, data analysis, storage, heat release calculation and drawing, ect, finally obtain the data and pictures understanded intuitived by people, according to various data provided by the system we have a more specific understanding of the working process of diesel engine and the combustion situation. Finally, this paper analyses the practice combustion process by using the measured data, the results proved that the system is feasible and software can be used for the test of the diesel engine dynamometer data and the analysis of the combustion process of the diesel engine.
