The earthquake does great damage to slope. Because of its particular structure, bedding rock slope is easier to be damaged and deformed during an earthquake. At present, the research about rock slope dynamic response under earthquake is rarely, and just limits to ideal homogeneous generalized mode. There are few reports on the study of bedding rock mass slope dynamic response. As for the research on the bedding rock slope deformation and failure mechanism under the earthquake, it is still in the blank.Based on the study of the mechanical characteristics of rock under earthquake action, this paper analyzed the stress of rock mass under the earthquake loads firstly, and then analyzed the tension failure and shear failure mechanism of slope under earthquake by the study under the conditions of static, horizontal earthquake, combination pattern of horizontal and vertical ground motions. After the research on stress wave spread in geotechnical engineering, this paper shows that structure surface controls the dynamic characteristics of rock slope and reveals the internal causes of why structure surface slope are prone to damage.Establishing a dynamic numerical simulation model of a bedding rock slope with FLAC2D finite difference software, this paper firstly studies on the dynamic response under horizontal earthquake according to (the theory) that the dynamic response of this model has similar regulation characteristics under various operating conditions, and then in-depth analyzed the influence of the parameters of ground motion on the response under earthquake through analyzing the dynamic behaviors of the slope under different waveform, amplitude, frequency, earthquake duration.Based on the method of strength reduction, this paper proposed a new method of to analysis the stability of bedding rock slope under seismic load that is estimating the stability according to the variation trend of the curve formed by the relative displacement between key points and datum points. Then, the paper Established a model to a highway in yunnan, made a comprehensive analysis on parallelism and stabilization under different earthquake loads by the method of numerical simulation and verified the correctness of the analytic method on earthquake slope.According to the bedding rock slope dynamic failure mechanism, contrasting the differences of slope dynamic deformation behaviors and analysing time history records of axial force, the paper get a conclusion that the anchor bar can improve the equivalent physical mechanical parameters of rock mass, constrain slope deformation, limit the development of shear strain, so it has good ant-seismic effect. The dynamic response of rock bolt under earthquake was confirmed by the on-site inspection data. The weakest location of rock slope anchorage system is pointed out.The results are very important to the slope anchor bolting seismic design.
