More and more attention has been paid to the thermobaric bomb since its inception. The thermobaric bomb mainly makes use of the temperature and pressure effect to produce the killing effect. After the thermobaric bomb is detonated, it burns dramatically to radiate a lot of heat to the surrounding and produce the high-voltage shock. Therefore, the transient high-temperature measurement technology is essential of the study on the thermobaric bomb explosion process and damage efficiency. But at present existing domestic technologies and devices for temperature and temperature field measurement are all unable to meet the need of transient high-temperature measurement generated in the explosion process of thermobaric bomb. At the same time, develop countries blockade temperature and temperature field measurement technologies of thermobaric bomb again. So the transient high-temperature measurement system meeting the need of thermobaric bomb explosion study is established urgently. In the context, this article puts forward a new transient high-temperature measurement system based on colorimetric temperature measurement technology for high-energy damage blast field, and studies the technical program and achieving means of the transient high-temperature measurement.Firstly, this paper introduces the physical parameters and basic law of thermal radiation and analyzes all kinds of basic methods of radiation thermometry, then it is pointed out that the transient high-temperature field of explosion process of the new ammunition such as the thermobaric bomb is studied by the colorimetric temperature measurement technology. Secondly, a new transient high-temperature measurement system based on colorimetric temperature measurement technology for high-energy damage blast field is designed. The overall design of colorimetric temperature measurement sensor is described in detail, and the design of this sensor structure, its composition and its work principle are highlighted. Then, the design of various parts and the choice of materials of system are discussed deep. Thridly, the principle of transient high-temperature measurement system is described, and the system operating wavelength and the wavelength bandwidth selection are studied. The accuracy of colorimetric temperature measurement system designed is discussed. It is obtained that the designed colorimetric temperature measurement system which overcomes some problems that common colorimetric thermometers often own possesses high accuracy. Finally, the colorimetric temperature measurement system program is verified by experiments with existing laboratory equipments. It is proved that the design of colorimetric temperature measurement system program is possible and the colorimetric temperature measurement device is able to meet requirements which allow that the temperature measurement error is±20℃and the temperature measurement accuracy reaches 1%. The initial requirements of transient high-temperature measurement are satisfied basically.
