Urban transport network is the blood of the city, which carries urban passenger flow, cargo flow and information flow. Stable and convenient urban transportation help to improve the efficiency of urban travel and improve people's quality of life; On the Contrary, it may hinder the rapid development of the national economy. Accurate evaluation of existing urban transport network and detection the defects of urban transport network has become a hot research issue in the field of intelligent transport in recent years.This paper firstly summarizes the progress of international research on urban transport network, assesses the reliability of the road network based on travel time reliability evaluation method and the convenience of public transport network based on the theory of complex network. The paper proposes the method of evaluation of road travel time reliability; the road network reliability evaluation method is introduced to the theory of fuzzy set, which can be used to guide the people's daily travel. In addition, the paper proposes the method of evaluation of public transport network based on traffic demand, complex network evaluation method is introduced to the traffic density and traffic trip distributed matrix, among them, the paper define the dynamic average degree, the dynamic average clustering coefficient, the dynamic average shortest path length, the dynamic average optimal path length and so on. This method can reflect the urban transport network capacity to provide services for the residents.The paper uses floating car data of Shenzhen city to evaluate some of the roads network based on travel time reliability method, and then uses floating car data of Shenzhen city to assess the entire public transport network of Shenzhen city based on theory of complex network. The paper finally calculates the reliability index and the convenient index of the transport network of Shenzhen city and the overall evaluation of transport network in Shenzhen city is given.
