The urban road transport is the skeleton of city traffic, which is the major media to achieve the urban functions. The fundamental way to solve urban traffic problems is to establish a rational way based on the level of gradation, the key is the level of optimization. Improve traffic network and road transport capacity can be effectively relieve congestion on the fundamental phenomenon, while, linking the various city organic. At the same time, optimizing the existing hierarchical structure of urban traffic; eliminate the hierarchical structure of network traffic caused by unreasonable difficulties, and improving urban road traffic system; clarify the function of various grades of road division, the function of adjusting the structure of urban roads; establishment of urban expressway network, improve main roads and secondary roads, to maintain a rapid way, the proportion of main roads and secondary roads and coordinated development, is the only way to play to the entire transport system functions fully, and became a reasonable social, which, benefit the economic and environmental.This study is based on the urban street network system, describe the level,hierarchy,the main line of the thesis in more detail. The core idea of papers is the road supply-demand balance, the object to the study is the road grading and network capacity. Summarize the research situation, and outlined the main contents of the paper, and the technical route and research methods.Chapter two, introduced the related optimization theory,such as, the supply- demand balance theory and the calculation in detail- spaceChapter three, describe the urban road grid Bureau of the four basic forms, with the specific function and role of the road, propose road layout of the basic requirements of the city; the road network should have a certain degree of hierarchy, then use the supply- demand balance to analysis the rational of road network; which, do a solid groundwork of determining the future of the paper.Chapter four, overview the layout of urban road network model and structural model; analysis the features of the city and the transportation network mainly based on the four typical urban form, then, on this basis, give the transportation network planning strategy; describe the calculation in detail- space consuming method. Introduce the concept of road network capacity and level of their research in briefly, and lay a solid theoretical basis to this study which defined the level of urban roads grade proportion method proposed.Chapter five, start from the supply-demand balance as the idea to start point of the road to the city level grading factors, combined with road grade proportion method, then, introduce the traffic supply and demand model to build urban transport demand-supply model, constructed Urban Road Grade Proportion optimization model, which build a basic for the next step.Chapter six, a case study, an empirical analysis of Changchun. Identify the main problems of road construction as the status of the road network in Changchun, and then, make some suggestions. And through the road network of Changchun, based on the analysis of supply-demand balance, establish the road grade proportion model, make recommendations for the governance of traffic congestion.Chapter seven, the summary and outlook. Summarize the main contents and innovation of this paper, and the need for further research.Whether urban road network is reasonable or not.is rely on road network capacity to meet the demand.
