In modern society, crane is one of the important equipment in the engineering construction, especially the truck crane which is needed in more and more fields with the fast-pace developping economy and to be required for better working performance because of it's mobility, quick diversion and wide range of lifting capabilities. Boom syetem as one of important sub-system of crane, its dynamic performance will directly affect the working performance of the entire crane. The design of the hydraulic system used to rely on experience and analogy, and then design a prototype to test whether it is reasonable. Through the simulation analysis of the hydraulic system can find the unreasonable design early, reduce the loss and improve efficiency.In this paper, mainly simulating 50 tons of truck crane's boom system based on AMESim software and analysing the simulation results under different conditions, focusing on the physical quantity of balance value, which is one of the main components of boom system and is important to the system. At the same time, through comparing experiment and simulation results, testing the accuracy of the simulation model, and discussing the simulation technology's important role of the hydraulic system design.
