With the social development and progress, people are increasingly demanding vehicle stability. At least two pairs of meshing teeth at the same time during the meshing process of spiral bevel gear, the contact ratio is greater than the straight bevel gear pair. So the process of high-speed operation can reduce the vibration and noise. Tooth surface degree can also be improved by tooth grinding or skiving tooth, thereby improving the transmission quality. And less prone to spiral bevel gear undercutting phenomenon, even if there is undercutting the strength of the phenomenon of gear will not have a huge impact.In this paper, the study includes the following aspects:(1) Determining the sphere of spiral bevel gear involute, addendum circle, dedendum circle and tooth form line parameter equation through the studies of the formation of spiral bevel gear meshing theory and the theory. Determining the key points of these curves based on these equations,Completing a single gear tooth profile in CATIA, and finally complete by modeling the parameters of spiral bevel gear design work.(2) Studying CATIA secondary development based on VB, and create a VB-based spiral bevel gear wheel big wheel and small executable file. When design the similar parts, we can execute the file using the convenient, fast and accurate modeling of the completion of gear.(3) After assembling the gear pair,analyse the static and dynamic interference in the CATIA software to avoid the interference caused by kinetic analysis.Transferring the gear pair to the Adams software by the simdesigner software then add the associated constraints and loads to the gear pair, at last a virtual prototype is created.(4) The key point of simulation of impact contact force is how to determine the contact stiffness, damping coefficient, static friction coefficient of contact parameters. First of all study the collision theory of Hertz to determine the stiffness of the collision in the process of setting the impact parameter, and then the settings of other parameters by experience.When the gear pressure angle change, the kinematics and dynamics will be changed, so I did research on different gear pressure angle.The results show that, with the pressure angle increases, the meshing force increases and then decreases.(5) There will inevitably be some errors in the design and manufacture of gear and gear assembly process,.This article describes some common errors of the manufacture and installation, then does some research on gear pair which the error exists in. The analysis showes that he gear meshing force fluctuations is significantly increases which indicated that gear vibration and noise will increase when the error exists in.
