In this paper, the study, based on the backgroud of the structure reinforcement of Dujiangyan State-banquet Hotel after 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, related to the actual destruction of this project in the earthquake, on condition that the project is not toppled and rebuilt, is trying to ameliorate the mechanical properties of the structure, strengthen the ability of resisting earthquakes, by structural members reinforcement and lateral energy-absorpt component introduction.Firstly, the study aims to renovate the fiercely damaged walls, beams and columns, by comparing and selecting some traditional component-reinforcing means. Furthermore, considering that the new anti-seismic code heighten the seismic fortification intensity from 7 degrees to 8 degrees, the former structure can not meet the specification, so along with the reinforcement, the study tries to introduce asymmetric energy consumption to sustain the lateral energy-absorpt component, to supply strength of the structure, and do anti-seismic checking of the new reinforced structure by PKPM software. The checking result shows that, after introducing the asymmetric energy-consuming support, not only the lateral stiffness of former structure is increased, but also the ductility of the structure is greatly improved and the energy deliverd by seismic waves is well absorbed, because the energy-consuming beams begin to work when infrequent earthquakes are happening. At last, the study put several anti-seismic suggestion forward in regard to some problems met from introducing the asymmetric energy-consuming support to concrete structures reinforcement.By the reinforcement analysis of project example, the study proves that introducing the asymmetric energy-consuming support to concrete structures reinforcement is feasible and safe. This means can meet not only the specification of 3 Criterions Fortification, but also the requirements of engineering economy, since the asymmetric energy-consuming support is easy to replace and maintain if damaged.
