TBM, short for Full Face Rock Tunnel Boring Machines, referred to machine, electrical, hydraulic, light and some other technologoes, is an large complex underground construction equipment. Because of its rocky tunnels (holes) of construction than traditional mining method in a rapid, high-quality, security and economic advantages, it has increasingly become relevant departments of China government and construction companies attention. TBM has been developed as a national development goal of major equipment, cutterhead is the key core-components, and as one of the core security technology for foreign, companys. The whole TBM cutterhead structure Design and analysis not only significant economic benefits, but also even greater social benefits.The cutterhead is a high-tech components of full face rock tunnel boring machine with significant production and processing economic benefits, in the open literature has been reported rarely. On the circumstances of lacking the information in the literature, we have complete the following tasks:1)Analysis of the whole TBM disc cutter rock breaking mechanism, layout rules of the cutter and the host structure and its connection with cutterhead;2) Force analysis on the whole cutter, and thus create force model of cutterhead;3) Follow the principle of reverse engineering, use design software application built three-dimensional cutter full-size model, Consider box design theory, and reasons feasibility of cutter design rule analysis;4) Application of analytical methods and means of ANSYS, the structure of the type of cutter analyzed the inherent characteristics of simulation. The results were judged on an attempt to establish a reference cutter design standard.
