Study On The Influence Of Tide On The Container Ships Entering And Leaving Port In Different Shipping Guaranteed Rates

In recent years,container transportation kept high-speed development, more and more large and super container ship was put into use. that prompted port to the deepwater waterway construction of development. Although standard provisions container ships do not entering or leaving ports by tide, in order to reduce the costs of channel construction or suffering natural conditions,large container ship needs to entering or leaving ports by tide in some port。In the situation, tidal is one of the key factors that affect traffic ability of port channel. Study of tides affect traffic ability of port channel becomes one of problems that urgently to be solved in port planning. On the base of the statistics of domestic coastal tidal data, use computer simulation software to built port waterway vessel operation system model on the index of service level to analyse influence of tide type values and average tidal range on traffic ability of port channel. Results show that:Tide type values don't have significant influence on traffic ability of waterway; Average tidal range is the key factor that effects traffic ability; relationship of traffic ability and service level obeys boltzmann curve.
