In this thesis, the ship course control simulation platform is designed by simulink toolbox of Matlab and friendly GUI interface.The calculation of the ship NOMOTO model and state space model, model simulation and physical simulation of the three Large main functions are included in experimental platform, to help students understand the course more intuitive control of the process, enhance the perceptual knowledge, research capacity of students comprehensive competence and innovative ability; at the same time this platform is an open platform, students who are interested can add the appropriate procedures to achieve the desired function.Paper based on Matlab GUI for serial communication function of programming that using Matlab GUI can contain general interface elements of the interface development, on this basis, adding serial communication to achieve real-time data acquisition and analysis and processing, and the graphical display. Also used in physical simulation serial communication through the serial port to connect the computer with the ship ship course control system constitutes a closed loop. Physical Simulation of the controller using Simulink ship model, this controller can be used directly in the toolbox can also use the controller and the designed controller, easy to replace, simple, easy to implement.Graphical user interface (referred to as the GUI) is to provide interactive tools and methods. Matlab using a user control that contains a variety of different styles of the graphics window object represents the user interface.The user must be programmed for each object, so that the user's behavior in the GUI to achieve the appropriate purpose. Matlab/GUI is a graphical user interface development of new methods, especially for language proficiency in Matlab simulation of the VC interface development, but not deep enough understanding of science and technology workers.Self-tuning fuzzy PID controller is used in course controller, fuzzy controller part is designed by fuzzy logic toolbox of Matlab, this method is simple, easy to implement and can be directly connected with the Simulink toolbox for simulation, and the controller as the core of the simulation diagram can also be perfect connected to platform, so the platform coule test the performance of the controller.
