| With the increase of vehicle ownership, the traffic system suffers more and more pressures than before. It is imperative to accelerate constructing the whole traffic system. Intelligent traffic system is supposed to be a synthetical system, which consists of humans, vehicles, cargoes, roads, management and so on. However, the intelligent traffic system itself now is in the primary developing stage, and many systems can only achieve single function, such as positioning system of GPS and automobile data recorder. There is no general monitoring platforms for the management of vehicles.Based on situations above, in this paper, we design a complete monitoring platform for public traffic vehicles, and realize terminal parts for vehicles. The whole platform is designed with three parts to realize the monitoring of humans, vehicles and cargoes. Short distance RFID is employed for the human monitoring, during which the radio IC card information of the drivers are recorded by the corresponding card readers, and photos of the drivers are obtained by the image collection system. Then all data are sent to the data monitoring center through TCP/IP network to accomplish the identity verification. In the vehicle monitoring parts, the monitoring of traveling state is implemented by the GPS position module, acceleration sensor, angular sensor and two-road image collection module. When emergencies happen, such as the vehicle crash or rollover, the alarm information will be delivered to the remote monitor center. The alarm information consists of the pictures of cabin (inside and outside) before and after collision and the present location of the vehicle, which is beneficial for the latter rescue. About the cargoes monitoring, many sensors can be installed in the carriage, such as temperature sensors, humidity sensors, pressure sensors and so on, which supervise the environmental conditions for cargos transportation. RFID electrical labels are applied to fix on the cargoes, and the relative information will be read immediately.Furthermore, the monitoring system for family medical is studied, and the transport of blood pressure is completed on the basis of ZigBee network. It is necessary for the family medical monitoring system to be used in the vehicle system.When all the above designs are finished, the completed monitoring system is mounted and tested in real vehicles, and the results meet design requirement, such as accuracy and anti-interfering performance. |
