There might be misuse like forgetting to demolite the ground lead, or placingthe ground lead at wrong location. In order to make the management of groundinglead more standardized,and to avoid potential safety problems from thosemisuses, we need to detect the location and state of ground lead,and timelytransmission the information to the control center. The internet of thing technologyprovides technical support to implement real-time monitoring of ground lead. In thispaper, we use radio frequency identification technology and Zigbee communicationtechnologies,and systematicly study the obtion of temporary ground lead state,remote transmission,ground software designing and other issues.In this paper,we take the substation operation site for example, and conduct asystematic analysis of needs of ground lead control system in operation site, designthe overall system architecture based on RFID and Zigbee technology, and determinethe function of each part of the project.Then we complete the design of the mainfunctional components of hardware and software, for the ground leadconnection information acquisition terminal based on RFID and Zigbee. When thereare a plurality of ground wires in an operation site, nodes of each wire lead canconstruct the Zigbee network,and transmit the information to the backgroundsoftware through wireless network. Then the backstage management software systemis designed, mainly draw the ground lead hanging point distribution map, receiveinformation from the operation site, display the state of location information of theground lead’s grounding state in a wirehanging point distribution map, provide afriendly man-machine interface, and provide print form files or reports in need.Finally,we test the system, the operation of the system and the test results show thatthe system hardware and software design can work reliably, and the designedfeatures can meet the requirements and provide useful support for the on-linemonitoring of the temporary ground lead in operation site, andimprove the information level of the substation management.
