As an important part of ecological design, ecological residential area plays a significant role in the process of urban construction and human development on the growing worsened ecotope. Taking ecological, economic and social benefits of ecological residential area into a synthesized consideration to establish the consummate system of evaluation index can not only enrich the theory of ecological residential area, but also have important practical significance for regulating and guiding the construction of ecological residential area.Based on the analysis of the research of the theory of ecological residential area benefit evaluation and practical foundation,16 indicators belonged to economy, ecology and society aspects were chose to establish and quantify the index system of ecological residential area benefit evaluation.
