In recent years, with the development and progress of community, more and more people attach importance to "Green Concrete", which represents the development trend of concrete. As a new type of inorganic fiber materials, basalt fiber has became a hot research in high tensile strength, high cracking ability and high price-performance ratio at home and abroad, which is made of natural basalt are by high temperature platinum and rhodium, known as "Green industrial materials and new materials" in the 21st century. Chopped basalt fiber has gradually widely attention with favorable dispersibility and dispersion of bond strength of base material.Through the tests of compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural resistance, axial compressive strength and slump of the concrete with different chopped basalt fiber in theory analysis and a large number of experimental studies, we explore the best dosage of basalt fiber.Several different mix design methods and test researches are introduced and the characteristic of the methods are balanced and contrasted and the research show that the mix design method of dosage fiber has several advantages, such as calculating simple, operability good and the strength of the concrete controlling easy. In order to study the influence on the working properties of BFRC, slump test of fresh BFRC is studied. The results show that the cohesive and resistance to bleeding of ordinary concrete are increased with basalt fiber which is in favour of delaying of cracks, but the early age strength of concrete is delaying at the same time In order to study the influence on the basic mechanical of BFRC, the compressive strength, split tensile strength, flexural resistance, axial compressive strength of the concrete by different volume of basalt fiber (0.1%,0.15%,0.2%,0.25%,0.3%,0.35%),whose diameter is 15μm, length is 30mm. The results show that the best dosage of basalt fiber is 0.1%-0.2%.Based on test data, additional fiber dosage of concrete strength prediction model is built by BP neural network and strength trend of BFRC is analyzed.
