Basalt fiber is the new eco-friendly materials adapted to ecological requirements in today’s society,it is a high-performance fiber developed after the development of the aramid fiber,glass fiber and carbonfiber.It has more excellent property which the other fibers do not have,and has special market requirements in special fields.As high fluidity concrete, the self-compacting concrete is a newly developed high-performance concrete with excellent segregation resistance and could fill templates and wrap steels without vibration, It improves the workability, durability and strength which performance is necessary for the high-performance concrete by admixture with efficient additive to significantly reduce the amount of water. Adding basalt fiber to fresh self-compacting concrete can not only improve its workability but also greatly improve its mechanical properties, which makes them to be new practical engineering composite materials.In this paper, the following works was done through researching and theoretical analysis of the workability, rheological and mechanical properties of basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete, the BFRSCC-PC composite pavement by National Natural Science Foundation Project:The research and development of basalt fiber insulation board.(1)Studies of fresh basalt fiber self-compacting concrete mixture performance, got basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete to meet the working and strength requirements on the basis of a large number of working experiments. The required C45 basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete was formulated by mixing ratio calculation and adjustment process summary, then compared with the methods of worldwide self-compacting concrete and fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete mix design.(2)Based on Tresca yield criterion, the differential equations of fresh SCC and FRSCC flow rate and slump flow diameter were established with Bingham model. The aim was to deduce the relationship between Concrete mixture yield stress and slump flow, simultaneously calculating the average viscosity of mixture with slump flow time T500 to reflect the size of the plastic viscosity. At last, the article calculated the rheological parameters of basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete prepared in Chapter 2 with the derivation relationship of slump flow parameters and rheological parameters.(3) The impact and improving effect to compressive strength, splitting tensile strength and flexural strength of different lengths and content of the basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete was analyzed by mechanical tests of basalt fiber self-compacting concrete.(4)The finite element model of the basalt fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete(BFRSCC)-plain concrete(PC) composite pavement structure was established and the stress variation of Composite Pavement under load was also explored. The results showed that the BFRSCC-PC pavement can optimize the ordinary cement concrete pavement.
