Research On The Constructing Information System Of Road Based On The Software Google Earth

The rapid development of highway construction makes new demands on the management of highway construction information. Organizing information scientifically and effectively, realizing the combination of the highway construction information and its geospatial information and building a construction information system of highway would improve the management level of the highway construction and help the highway constructer to get better control on the construction quality, construction schedule and project investment.Google Earth soft, as a new type of GIS, provides considerable geographic information related to the construction of highway. At present, Google Earth soft has been applied in constructing the digital city and city planning. This paper used Google Earth software as development platform, with Delphi 7.0 as tool, designing and developing the construction information system of highway, which based on Google Earth software. This paper mainly consists of three parts. The first part realizes the coordinate transformation between the different coordinate systems. The second part designs the construction information system with the survey and analysis of the demand of the project owners, project supervising units and construction units. The final part designs the spatial database of the highway construction and the highway construction property information database that taking quality information, construction schedule information and measurement-payment information as main body. The system realized the aim that letting the user uniformly storage and relations query and statistically analysis the highway construction information and the geospatial information. This system provides a visualization platform to the highway constructer for the management of the highway construction. It has practical significance to further improve the management level of road constructer and the quality of the highway construction.
