With the high speed of development of new and precise technology,high machinehyperfine processing and testing get more and more proportions,as a result,the demanding ofmicro-vibration control become stringent.The researches on the technique of micro-vibrationcontrol has great significance of theory and practical to hi-tech and the construction ofnational defence.In the middle of 1980s,the conception about intelligent materials was putforward,which integrates sensing,actuation and information processing,the intelligentmaterials embody many new features,such as self-sensing,self-diagnose,adaptive,self-repair.With the piezoelectric effect and converse piezoelectric effect,intelligent materials can beused as sensor and actuator to regulate the damping and vibration frequency of structure'saerodynamic characteristics.In this paper,the system consisting of a cantilever beam andintelligent materials is studied for active vibration controlFollowing is the main points of the paper. Firstly, Based on the large number of readingat home and abroad, this paper of which related studies were reviewed.Current studies onMicro-vibration control and the concepts of intelligent materials are introduced. Then,onthe basise of piezoelectric cantilever,a dynamics model of the system isestablished.Secendly,several active vibration control methods that are widely used in thefields of intelligent structure are analyzed.Step responses to the system of the severalcontrol methods are simulated with MATLAB.The effects of simulation are analyzed.Anothermethod that is integrated with mode control and LQR method is presented in the thesis.thenthe effect of it's simulation is analyzed.Thridly,the influence of control effect of piezoelectricpatches'location style and actuator's characteristics are analyzed.Using genetic arithmetictoolbox,the location of actuators are optimized .Finally,make the summary and introduce thefuture expectation.
