Security Monitoring System For Transformers In Rural Areas

In particular the theft of agricultural transformers has become a major problem.The paper analysis a series of security measures by studying the agricultural characteristics of the process of transformer theft. Which, the GPRS network monitoring power transformer is a good measure.GPRS network has many features, such as high-speed data transmission, always-on, a small cost, and the two ways to achieve the control objectives are text messaging and wireless data transmission.In the paper the modle is divided into two parts:the design of hardware modules and software modules. Hardware module use PIC16F series MCU MCU as a core module, supported by three-phase transformer voltage detection module, clock circuits, alarm circuits, Max232 and its peripheral circuits, GPRS wireless module circuit. Software module is by editing the initialization, interrupt procedures, alarm circuit procedures and GPRS module program, and hardware combination, through commissioning, to issue instructions manipulate GPRS module action.
