Applying GPRS To Monitoring System Of Distribution Transformer

This thesis is about the research of using GPRS in Monitoring System of Distribution Transformer.The work mainly develops GPRS wireless terminal used in Monitoring System of Distribution Transformer.The thesis describes the design and debugging of the hardware and software system.PPP protocol and TCP/IP protocol are successfully applied to GPRS wireless terminal.Firstly,the thesis introduces the background,purpose,significances of Monitoring System of Distribution Transformer and points out that it is the difficulty to communicate to many remote Distribution Transformers in spread areaes,then the thesis analyses kinds of communication networks used in Distribution Autumation System and finds out that GPRS technology can solve the difficultiy to communicate to many remote Distribution Transformers.Secondly,the thesis studies the whole structure of GPRS network and logical structure of core network,and analyses GPRS's transmission platform.On the basis of it,the thesis proves feasibility of using GPRS in Monitoring System of Distribution Autumation System,and brings out a scheme using GPRS in Monitoring System of Distribution Transformer.In the design scheme,the essential technologies about GPRS wireless terminal are provided.Thirdly,the thesis carefully describes the design and debugging of hardware and software modules about GPRS wireless terminal.The design of hardware includes microprocessor system module,GPRS communication module,serial communication module and switch power supply module.the design of software mainly involves PPP protocol module,TCP/IP protocol module and Serial communication module.The source code is written entirely in C language,so it can be easily transplanted.In the end,the thesis concludes the main work of this design,and raises some research topics after it.
