The bond stability of cement concrete and asphalt concrete overlay is the key to ensure a good performance of the road. Currently, each country researches a lot on overlay of asphalt pavement on cement and yields many results. But it's still not deel and perfect enough on study of treatment of interlamination, especially in cold regions with low temperature, there are reflective cracking and other diseases in such road, it's urgent to improve technology of such road. Basing on the extensive analysis of existing information, combined with the actual situation project of added asphalt pavement in the Cold Regions and methods and theories of treatment asphalt overlay on the old cement concrete pavement in Cold Regions, to ensure a good pavement performance on old cement concrete pavement in Cold Regions.This dissertation has mainly researched five aspects as follows:(1) Investigat and analyze the climate characteristics, traffic general situations of asphalt overlay on old cement concrete pavement and the problems of road in Clod Regions. (2) Study of the damage of road in Cold Regions, using improved evaluation model of the matter-element to evaluate the damagement; Combined with the results of evaluation and actual conditions of the road, investigating the generation reasons of damagement and the relevant preventive measures in Cold Regions. (3) Classifying the work environment of overlay pavement,shear and compressive strength as an indicator and the condition of interlayer; Furthermore,based on the calculation of temperature load coupling stress of the road, determining the modulus and the thickness index of the material layer.(4)Studying the character and performance of all kinds of interlayer materials, fined the applicability in Cold Regions; Sudying the portfolio performance of five proposed interlayer materials on low temperature tests of laboratory test; Calculating the temperature-load coupling tensile stress of the bottom of surface, raising proper combination of interlayer materials of asphalt overlay on the old cement concrete pavement Under the different category of work environment, for applications of interlayer materials in Cold Regions. (5)Studying reflective cracking resistance, shear strength and bond Performance of asphalt overlay on the old cement concrete pavement using interlayer materials in various combinations, determining the strength of cracking, shearing resistance, bonding of interlayer materials, to provide basis of optimization of the best interlayer materials and structures of all kinds of asphalt overlay on the cement concrete pavement.
