While highway construction is booming,highway built in early years have entered the maintaining period,and a quantity of asphalt pavements that need to be maintained is increasing annually.As a result,each year a great quantity of old asphalt pavement materials will be produced. Not only wasting resources but also polluting the environment if these materials are discarded.The old asphalt pavement material can be reused for the using of recycling technologies, and it is a measure consistent with sustainable development law.The thesis studies the cold recycling technology stabilized by lime flyash. Firstly, through a standard compaction test, get the best water content and maximum dry density of cold recycling mixture. Through the cold recycled mixture ratio design, give the recommendation ratio of the cold recycling mixture. Research the mechanics indexes including the unconfined compressive strength, the cleavage strength and the resilient modulus. The changing law of these indexes related to the lime flyash content and the curing age is estabilished, and build functional relationship of strength-cleavage strength and functional relationship of strength-resilient modulus.The pavement performance of designed mixture is studied, including stableness (water stableness and cold stableness), anti-brushing performance, and the anti-crack performance. Indoor washing test results show that cold recycling mixtures has good anti-washing performance. The dry shrinkage strain and dry shrinkage coefficient of cold recycling mixture increase with the exposure time. The temperature shrinkage factor firstly increases and then decreases with temperature decreasing.The cold recycling of asphalt pavement base with lime flyash is meeting the performance requirements of the pavement performance, and it is a very appropriate technology for the maintenance and reconstruction.It has immeasurable economic, social and environmental benefits.
