Multitask Scheduling In Duty Planning

Flight crew scheduling is an important part of airlines flight planning, directly related to the flight operation costs and efficiency, also it's an important tool to reduce airlines'operating costs, improve operational efficiency and enhance competitiveness.This thesis mainly discusses the problem of multi-mission coordination in duty planning of crew scheduling problem .It aims to design a reasonable scheduling model to improve the efficiency and quality of the duty planning problem.This thesis firstly introduces the meaning of duty, the rules of duty planning, the methods of duty generation and the multi-mission coordination problem in duty planning.Then, the technology and characteristic of multi-agent and blackboard is discussed .What's more, this thesis also discusses the advantage of multi-Agent and blackboard technology in duty planning and analyzes several typical multi-agent scheduling algorithms. On the basis of above, considering the fact of duty planning, this thesis designs a scheduling model based on queueing theory. To solve the problem of coordination of multi-agent, on analyzing the common coordination mechanisms, this thesis designs a multi-agent coordination mechanism which bases on blackboard technology. Finally, the thesis discusses the detailed design and implementation methods of this duty planning scheduling system, also the analysis and evaluation of the system from efficiency, performance, flexibility and reliability are given.
