In recent years, serious infectious disease (such as SARS,H1N1,ect) transmitting by airborne or droplet-nuclei has not only been becoming a threat to the human health all over the world, but also been causing enormous losses of economy. People have held psychological panic of the infectious disease. Once infection or cross infection happened in the hospital,it can threat the safety of more patients and medical staff. Building airborne infection isolation room and controlling infection in the hospital have aroused general concern, which has become an urgent problem. Currently developed countries such as the United States and Australia have many researches about airborne infection isolation room, but they still do not have uniform standard. Air distribution and the air changes which are important to the isolation effect are still controversial. Therefore, this paper research and optimize the two important parameters together. The effects of four typical air distribution modes were compared using the CFD simulation and experiment. We compare four typical air distribution modes. They are vector-flow inlets with two outlets,vector-flow inlets with single outlet,an air inlet in the middle of top roof with single outlet and an inlet in the partial central of top roof with single air outlet.Four conclusions were made in the subject:Vector-flow supply mode is cleaner than other air distribution modes in same ACH,Vector-flow supply mode is more effective with single outlet than two outlets;Although partial top inlet with single outlet has low concentrations of pollutants to the whole room, the vector-flow supply mode has lower concentrations of pollutants in the height of breathing,it is better to protect the doctor. Vector-flow supply has a lower air velocity which is beneficial to the patient's recovery. Two important parameters in studying the airborne infection isolation room are air distribution and air changes, and the interaction between them cannot be neglected, properly reducing air changes can also achieve good results with good air distribution mode.
