As the comprehensive clinical building is a chief part in hospital building, the design of air-condition in it plays a more important role than that of other ordinary civil buildings. The comprehensive clinical building in this paper include all kinds of patient room, operating-room , ICU and other special patient room. It has an unreplaced part in protecting the quality of operation, helping the recovery of patients and providing the good working conditions for the doctors and nurses. With today's rapid development of engineering , hygiene and economy, there are more and more new and ceaseless requirements about the clinical building, so paying attention to the design and study of them makes great sense. The HVAC systems in the comprehensive clinical buildings require more comfortable standard than that of the control to alternate infection in hospital and the aseptic control to the clean medical environment, which is the major peculiarity of air-condition in comprehensive clinical building.Except the conspectus, this paper discusses the following three aspects according to the practical engineering design: â‘  At the first, this paper analyses the principia with choosing the energy source of HVAC. Explain the choice of compressed refrigeration machine must be fit for the different function area and loading characteristic, at the same time must ensure the unattached run and dependability of operating-room. This paper discusses the rationality of compressed refrigeration machine and centralized heat supplying, the practice running validate the scheme. The water system of HVAC is mainly used two-piped system. While the air-condition in operating-room which requires a higher requirement of control can partly run the four-piped system, using heat-pump to provide refrigerant separately. â‘¡ It discusses the basic methods and technique peculiarities of the HVAC of operating-room, analyzing the problem in the design. Besides the adequacy of the control about temperature and humidity, there is another important aspect that is the control ofasepsis, which is the integral control. The key to the control(HVAC) is to ensure the serial terraced pressure in different asepsis space. The paper made a deeply analysis and discussion on the entire designing processes and methods of organization of air current ways in giving wind > calculate of loading > fresh air and measure of cleaning the air-condition. It also discusses the advantages and reliability of the second-returning-wind system and dry-state operation of the HVAC in operating-room. (3) It discusses the requirement and character of all kinds of patient room. Classify the patient rooms according to peculiarity of different HVAC, it include ordinary patient roonu airborne infection isolation room-, birthing roonu intensive care unrU asepsis room, and give economic and reasonable design programs. The author points out the essentials of HVAC design in different kinds of patient rooms.All of the conclusion above based on the needs of practice engineering. The paper discuss the choose of air-condition pattern^ organization of air current n the characteristic of calculation of load > the measure of control about asepsis and the point of HVAC design. The same time, the author introduces the design of some examples discussing the problems and disadvantages in the design and analyzing the feasible improving measures.
