With the globalization of the market and the manufacture,the motorcycle industry of our country has been confronted with strong competitions and rigorous challenges on account of the insufficient competence of the independence innovation and development and the low-level technology.In the face of the general current of the economic. As well as,to solve the vibration problem has become urgent affairs which puzzle our motorcycle manufacture enterprise for a long time.As a core assembly,the frame bears the load.Its dynamic characteristic is a key factor for motorcycle ride comfort. Road exeitation and engine excitation are two origins causing the vibration of motorcycle chassis frame.This paper focuses on how to reduce the resonance resulted from the forcc frequeney of engine in accord with the inherent frequeney of the frame.The Finite Element Analyze(FEA) has been used to analyze the characteristic of the vibration of the frame.This dissertation attempts to study the dynamic characteristic of the motorcycle frame deeply and systematically through modern structural dynamics methods,to discover frame weakness,and find a way to improve its structure rationally,so as to improve the ride comfort of the motorcycle. The main research is as follows:â… .Do research on the vibration system of motorcycle , to find out the root reason for causing vibration, and gave some possible proposals to solve the vibration problem of the motorcycle.â…¡. To get the inherent frequency and the vibration mode of the frame, the finite element models of the frame is established,and the mode analysis of the frame is carried out.By experimental modal analysis results, the simulation results is verified, which validate the finite element model of the reliability and accuracy.â…¢. Considering the road exeitation and the engine excitation, the structure of the frame is improved based on studying the outcome of the mode analysis deeply.Verified by finite element analysis, the improving program can enhance the frame's natural frequency of harmful vibration mode, the dynamic characteristic of the frame have been well improved, and the strength and stiffness of the frame is better than with the original frame. â…£. The stand-test and the road-test of ride comfort of origin motorcycle and modified motorcycle,are completed respectively.The comparison result shows that the vibration comfort is improved obviously after modification.
