Study On Skyway System Of Commercial Street Design

As the products of the modern city, the skyway system resovled a part of the problem of urban transport and space. However, it was doubted by many people. The weak in theory and the blind in practice, which makes the constrcut of the skyway system, stands in elementary step. The question is worth pondering.The article fouces on the Theoretical knowledge and the examples of the skyway system, then summarizes the strategies of the skyway system in business street, which hopes to support the construct in furture.At first, the article starting form the theroy, analyses the generate reason and parts of the skyway system. Then, the article studies on the progress of the skyway system in the business street.Then, the article fouces on the research above, chooses four typical examples from the city at home and abroad, and analyses the points that the design of the skyway system needs to be note in district feature, actuality site, using situation, design feature and problem.Subsequently, through the basic research and the examples, the strategies have been summed up. The strategies involve from policy and institution to urban planning, urban design, from macrography to micrography.Finally, the article proves the methods of design in a skyway system project, basing on the principles got from the research. The article proves that these results of study are useful, but also finds that it needs more research about how to prove these with limited conditions during design progress.
