With the acceleration of the modernization process,more and more cities in our country began to build central business district(CBD).CBD has many kinds of functions such as commerce,business,culture and it also has characteristics such as high building density,large amount of traffic flow,which lead to problems like contradictions between people and vehicles,crowded walking space on the ground.In order to solve these problems,more and more CBD began to build skyway system.However,due to the lack of current researches on accessibility of skyway system,the design of skyway system in cities often appear to be less accessible.This problem will reduce the use of skyway system and result in a waste of resources.Based on the space syntax theory,this thesis constructs the quantitative evalution system of accessibility of skyway system,which is conducive to design a more accessible skyway system.First of all,this article analyze the concept,composition and main functions of skyway system,and demonstrates the feasibility of studying the accessibility of skyway system,on this basis,by comparing the commonly used research methods of accessibility,space syntax is chosen as the research method of this thesis.Then this thesis discuss the space syntax more comprehensively,combing the definition,research object,configuration and its expression,commonly used syntactic variables and basic model of space syntax.At the end the thesis select the segment model which is based on axial model as the basic model for spatial analysis.Then,based on the relationship between syntactic variables and skyway system,this thesis constructs the accessibility evaluation system of skyway system in CBD which is based on space syntax and proposes methods of skyway system optimizing.Finally,based on the established accessibility evaluation system,this thesis takes the core area of Huadu CBD in Guangzhou as an example to evaluate the accessibility of skyway system.By comparing the analysis of skyway system designs before and after optimization,the optimized design is confirmed to be better.
