Wood has been widely used in foreign countries because of its nice, light, non-pollution and other features, with great development of economic and people's awareness of environmental protection in recent years, wooden structure is gradually recovering in China, there are more and more internal wooden structures such as wooden villa, wooden bridges and other construction in the form of architecture landscape. Wood structure is commonly connected by truss plate and with more and more truss plate being used, some domestic manufacturers have began to start producing their own tooth plate. But for homemade truss plate, it does not have a scientific method , many parameters about design are referencing that on aboard. In response to this phenomenon, a scientific method for homemade truss plate is need, through standard joint connected by truss plate, experiment about tension, uplift, anti-slip, shear is made to determine truss plate design value .Through destructive experiments of 6 truss bearing joint s, bearing failure mode, ultimate strength, and the sliding of the node were analyzed and compared with standard node ,it can be concluded that mechanical properties of two types of the joint are same that the design value of standard joint can be widely used in the design of light truss.During loading process node, the phenomenon of yield appear on the surface of the truss plate near wood seams, and large deformation is accompanying, which can indicate that truss plate is in the region weak force. In order to understand clearly the status of joint of light weight wood truss, based on strain gauges on the surface of the truss plate near wood seams, it can be analyzed the stress changes of truss plate board surface and the board range of yield and Yield of time. The results can be drawn that the truss plate will yield when the external load is up to 60% of design load, and the range of yield will extend gradually along the longitudinal direction of wood seam, and the range of yield will not extend gradually along the l horizontal direction of wood seam, and the range of yield is distributing 5 mm near both sides of wood seam.Ansys is used in order to analyse the yield phenomenon of the whole truss plate, through analysis of bearing joint in the truss plate, the stress changes of the whole truss plate board surface and the board range of yield and yield of time can be obtained. It can be concluded the truss plate will not yield out the scope of 5mm wood seam , the stress of truss plate in the scope of between 5mm ~ 20mm of wood seam is the 50Mpa below ,and the stress is 10Mpa below out the scope of 20mm wood seam.
