| With the rapid development of light rail and the construction of informatization unceasingly thorough, the passenger information system (PIS) has become the main measures to improve the light rail service level and infrastructure performance. The current passenger information system exists a lot of insufficient such as less multimedia formats supported, single product function, complex information update and slow rate in the file transfer and so on. Based on the embedded technology and network technology, the light rail passenger information system terminal software is studied by this paper.Firstly, this paper introduces the characteristics and classification of passenger information system, then introduces the current condition and development trend of the PIS in domestic and abroad.Secondly, basing on the analyzing of functional requirement for PIS, this paper puts forward the hardware and software architecture, the overall architecture and design principles for the terminal software of light rail passenger information system. This chapter plays a guiding role for next chapters on the whole.Thirdly, the key technologies of PIS terminal software such as the Linux device driver model analysis, multimedia technology, video monitoring technology, terminal control system design and file renewal, etc, are researched in this chapter. And corresponding solutions are put forward by this chapter.Finally, the paper gives the implementation and application of the light rail passenger information system terminal software. This terminal has been applied to the actual rail operations, meeting the need of the PIS, and obtain the desired results. |
