With the development of society and technology, the increasing intensity of social competiton, many countries have focused on the development of weapons. MAV is one of the most appreciated detectors around the world. It is a new kind aircraft developed in 90s of the last century. With small dimension, light weight and low power consumption, MAV is very suitable for military operations and civilian areas of exploration.It's an innovation of traditional aviation technology and it opened up the application of nanotechnology and MEMS technology in aviation. Its development and application will greatly boost national defense and national economic construction.The paper have designed a flight control system which can capture, encode and store video data. The system is small, light and multifunctional and can meet the requirements of MAV. The system mainly consists of core processor DM355 and its peripheral electric circuits, CMOS image sensor, three-axis gyroscope, three-axis Accelerometer and magnetoresistance sensors.At first, the status of MAV is introduced in world-wide area, especially in the aspects of schemes, functions, and technical targets of several mature autonomous flight control systems. Second, the hardware circuit of core board of flight control system is designed, and then the key MEMS sensors and peripheral devices is implemented.On the software part, the system adopts embedded Linux operating system as software platform, developes peripheral device drivers based on DM355, and realizes the program about video capture, encoding and storage.Finally, the flight control system is tested based on the semi-physical simulation platform.The test results show that it can meet the requirements of system hardware resource of MAV flight control system. Additionly, it can capture, encode and storage VGA format video data at real time.
