The large public building energy saving is attracting more and more attention as the development of energy saving work in our country. This paper simulates and studies the energy consumption of a commercial building in Qingdao by use of the real-time monitoring system EMS-Ⅱcreated by building energy saving center of Qinghua University.After that we analyze the measurement data and evaluate the energy using of the commercial building and supply the energy saving suggestions accordingly.First of all,the BIN method was applied in calculating the air conditioning energy consumption. Detailed site and drawing investigation was done in order to research the energy consumption accurately, according to which the test scheme were determined. And the air conditioning energy consumption was measured to verify the accuracy of BIN method using in simulating.Applying statistics principle to evaluate the energy consumption of the commercial building,the difference between cooling season and non-cooling season could be compared obviously,as electricity consumption in per area was 37.63~49.13 kWh in cooling season while was 28.59~31.13 kWh in non-cooling season. The electricity consumption of the whole year was 411.9 kWh per area. According to the energy consumption of the shopping mall varies with the temperature outside the room,the functional relationship between them is studied,through which the potential energy saving analysis can be obtained。From the analysis of the measurement data,the proportion of air conditioning energy consumption was larger than the others,which can account for 42%;while the lighting and socket is 33.5%. The COP of the refrigerating unit is only 4. tThe difference of supply and return water temperature is only 3℃,the whole air conditioning system was running at a bad condition for the flow is large but the temperature difference is small. At the same time from the measurement and analysis of the illuminance,temperature and humidity,we can find that the illuminance was too large and the temperature and humidity was uneven..For the problems above, this paper adopted theoretical analysis and experiment to analyze the running status of refrigerating unit,water system,cooling tower and air system,and the energy saving suggestions were supplied accordinglyFrom the research of the energy consumption using of the commercial building, the basic energy consumption situation of commercial buildings in Qingdao can be generally understood. The normal energy consumption problems can be explored and the energy saving direction of large public buildings can be obtained, which therefore provides basic references for the energy quota management and energy saving refurbishment for the large public building. It has a significant meaning to further research and popularization of building energy saving of the country.
