The measurement of voltage is closely related to our daily production and safe,which people have designed lots of ways to deal with. Especially now we can design soft of MCU as the substitution of the hardware. The methond can realize automatic measurement of the apparatus, and can deal the data analysis which can make apparatus have more credibility, more accurately and more Functionally.This article for the purpose of measuring separate ways for the locomotive motherboard voltage was designed based on PIC locomotives voltage measuring device. This paper also summarized the theoretical basis, the design and the ideas technical details of the device,and on this basis, this paper introduces the design principle and method of the hardware and software for the device designed in detail.This article has designed the locomotives voltage measurement device based on PIC's shardware,software and host computer interface ,which selected PIC processor as the core of the instrument hardware structures. In the design of data transfer module, we adopt UART-to-USB bridge chip PL2303 to design USB interface circuit, which made the application more convenient for users and simplify the design of development program.The software design of locomotive power monitoring and recording device based on PIC included two parts: PIC system embedded program and Host Computer application. We adopt C language to compile PIC system embedded program in the CCS development platform and design the host computer application in the VC++6.0 development environment, which the user interface more beautiful and simple.The debugging and testing process show that the design is correct and the final result can meet the need of the precision. The experimental results show that the system is reasonable design, the performance-price ratio is high,and has very good promoted application prospect.
