In the Electromagnetic rail gun research process, armature voltage measurement is of important meaning for the research of armature movement in the rail. In order to obtain armature voltage waveforms precisely and efficiently, we design the armature voltage measurement system according to the characteristics of the electromagnetic emission process. The system can capture instantaneous voltage waveforms of two channels at the same time and realize the data transmission, storage and display, etc. The system includes three parts, the high voltage divider converts the high voltage signal to proper voltage signal in measurement range of the system; The field acquisition device undertakes data disposal, acquisition and temporary storage of the signal out from voltage divider; The far-end PC communicates with the front-end acquisition device through the optical fiber cable, realizing the acquisition device control and data transmission.Hardware section includes the high voltage divider structure performance analysis and field acquisition device structure. The field acquisition device is designed based on FPGA + DSP. FPGA controls ADC sampling data which is processed further by DSP to be stored in external storage space. DSP also realizes the communication with the PC.Software section designs FPGA internal logic and realizes the ADC sampling control, acquisition process control and DSP communication interface design. DSP software realizes the FPGA parameter settings, data processing & storage and network communication with PC. PC software uses MFC programming, realizing network transmission, data file storage and waveform display.Finally in system commissioning and experiment parts, system modules are tested and simulated, which proves the rationality of the system.
