Port construction in China has experienced the restoration in the 50's of the 20th century and rapid development in 70's period of the 20th century. Port construction has been constructed slower since the 90's. In addition to the construction of large berths, the main operation is carried out for the old wharf's maintenance, transformation and upgrading, which has been worked for many years maintenance. Therefore, China has entered the stage that is old port transformation and. new port preserved. Especially high-pile wharf has entered the peak period of damage repair in China.All of above, It is necessary to assess in-service High-Piled Wharf's reliability before they are being transformed and upgraded. Because we got the results of its'reliability assessment, (1)It is reasonable to draw up rehabilitation programs: (2)It can be seen that the active operation of in-service High-Piled Wharf, in order to the weak links is focused on maintenance when upgraded: (3)It is also playing a role to reference when their reliability are assessed after the upgrade. Then, this paper is combining with part study of the projects of the central public fund (TKS070204) which is belongs to Tianjin Research Institute for Water Transport Engineering. The main works are as follows:Through detecting the chloride ion concentration of in-service high-pile wharf and damage of the terminal longitudinal, beams and panels structural, the causes and draw conclusions of its damage is analyzed. The concrete durability failure mechanism of port engineering is founded to know the reasons for the destruction of concrete more clearly. Different analysis and comparison is from the different and past damage model and put forward the concrete damage model of the mechanism of aggregation, to be more comprehensive, detailed description of the statistical parameters of load and settlement of the parameters and calculation methods to determine such issues. The chloride ions, carbonation of concrete and concrete strength of different factors are taken into account, and ultimately, the model of the structure of time-varying resistance is obtained. At last, use of the Matlab software operations JC Act procedures, the high-pile wharf beam's reliability is calculated.
