With the continuous development of virtual reality technology, online distance training of education was more humane, it expanded from the original part of the original view of teaching. The students enhanced part of the practical operation of teaching experience, who were trained the students practical ability and innovated thinking and problem solving skills. Automatic transmission of the virtual assembly process was more figurative so that trainers could master structural principle of automatic transmission very easily. Automatic transmission was known as adjusting the detection of the main unit, shorten the learning cycle of learning, reduced the learning cost and decreased equipment wear and tear.This paper points out the study of virtual reality technology background and significance, of virtual reality technology described research status and problems, then show work features and application domain of VRML, applications, the proposed VRML and Java technology application with combination of virtual dismantling of the entire process.In this study, a detailed discussion is that: needs of the analysis, describing the social and functions,application of VRML technology, combining with AutoCad 3D modeling, 3DMAX rendering, formating conversion and other functions, the main components for automatic transmissions 3D modeling design. It researched the measure of VRML and Java implementation of a complex interaction method. Then connected with database in order to detect error. Basing on the previous thinking ,it encountered in achieving realistic animation effects collision.
