As an essential measuring device in inertial navigation system, gyroscope is widely used in detecting the angular motion of moving objects in the inertial space. With advantages such as simple structure, high reliability, low cost and low power dissipation, dynamically tuned gyro(DTG) is widely used in various fields such as aviation, spaceflight and navigation. DTG and rebalance loop constitute the measuring device of angular velocity. The quality of rebalance loop directly determines the overall performance of the system as well as its measuring accuracy. To keep synchronous with the boomed application fields as well as surging demands of various new standards for indicators in the inertial navigation system, analog rebalance loop which is widely used at present confronts several difficulties in its application. Therefore, developing digital rebalance loop with better performance becomes an inevitable choice. In this paper, theoretical model of DTG is analyzed.Thereby, kinetic equation is deduced and implementation of full decoupling is derived. Based on the analysis above, digital rebalance loop in which TMS320F2812 acts as the main controller is designed. The system mainly consists of signal preprocessing module, digital signal processing module, DAC module and power amplification module. System software is developed, thus realizes functions like signal acquisition, digital decoupling, digital correction, output of control variable and upper machine communication. With the submodule designed and finally carried out, the whole system is tested. And ideal experimental results have been obtained. Design specifications are achieved. Judging from the results, we can see that the rebalance loop realizes the expected function of measure and control. Therefore, the feasibility of the scheme is verified. At last, experimental results are analyzed. Scheme of further improvement of overall performance and accuracy of measure and control is proposed.
