| Higher vocational education is an important part of higher education, and the status of its development is an important manifestation of national modernization. In recent years, great efforts were made to develop China's Higher vocational education, more and more new campuses of higher vocational education were built, along with the existing ones enlarged their campuses to expand enrollment dramatically.In this paper, campus planning and architectural design of higher vocational education college are the main object of the study, combined with practical and systematic study on specific project. Base on the higher vocational education teaching characteristics and problems encountered in the designing of the campus, the paper discuss planning and design elements of higher vocational colleges, and also make a feedback of summary with existing examples and the author's design practice.The text is divided into four parts, the first part firstly make a definition of the concept of vocational education, and then introduced the trend of Chinese and other developed country on Higher Vocational Education Development and Higher Education Area, and focus on the characteristics of higher education college and their impacts on architectural design, as described later in the stage for. The second part of the paper is the study on overall planning and design, focusing on site selection and construction of campus and planning principles, discussing four spatial layouts from a planning perspective. The third part of the paper is about the building design. The first act from vocational education to the paper introduces the current design of the new general classrooms, focusing on the spatial characteristics of higher vocational colleges - research and training workshop for the current permanent colleges for instance, then present the external characteristics of the teaching building space single image shape and construction insights. The image of the campus buildings, the proposed College Teaching from the architectural characteristics of the design caused problems encountered, and summarize the available solutions. Fourth part mainly introduce the author's design practice Tianjin Haihe Education Zone (Beiyang Zone). |
