Heavy DC have a wide range applications in industrial production and laboratory research, which measurement accuracy and reliability had tremendous affect on metallurgical, chemical and power industries. At present, China's heavy DC measurement and calibration system not only have limitations on the existence sensor principle and method, but also the precision, the accuracy and the uncertainty exists a serious shortage. Summing up the above, our country`s heavy DC measurement and calibration system can not compare with the advanced countries`.Research on this paper, an approach based on the principle of magnetic modulated for the heavy DC measurement standard devices self-calibration system. This paper originality is lies in a small current-based method measuring differential topology for the original self-calibration system, analysis and research of it measuring principle, the data selection and other thorny issues, from which can establish the measurement standards of the self-calibration system, used to accomplish the self-calibration and mutual-calibration of the standards from the laboratory site to transmission and to industrial site.The article introduces the working principle, applications and design methods of the ratio error measurement of heavy DC which is the core device of heavy DC measurement standards installation. Followed by the establishment of the heavy DC measurement standards device self-calibration system`s topology, carried out a detailed theoretical analysis, choose the system parameters combined with stable simulation. In addition, deeply study on the transitivity and traceability of the heavy DC measuring system. Finally, since the design of the school system and the experimental data, carried out a theoretical analysis of errors and uncertainties combine with the self-calibration system`s topology and experimental data.The heavy DC measurement devices self-calibration systems what this paper have studied has many advantages. We expected it truly become the standard measurement of heavy DC self-calibration system devices. The success of the research topic, not only in beyond related technologies self-calibration systems in theory, but also expected to improve the heavy DC measurement precision and accuracy.
