With the deterioration of the energy crisis,the rising price of traditional energy, and more consciousness of environment protection,the utilization of energy-saving technology plays a more and more important part. The tiny-oil ignition is a revolutionary events on traditional ignition technology of coal-firing unit. It can save 95% oil by using classification ignition technology to ignition the pulverized coal and reduce the generation cost by being used to low-load combustion.supercritical units have became the main units gradually in China. It has reality significance to research the application to tiny-oil ignition in supercritical boiler because the supercritical units have many features.This paper introduces the principle , constitution and control strategy of tiny-oil ignition, and analyses the tiny-oil ignition technology from security, economy, coal applicability, reliability, stability on low-load combustion and environment protection.According to the overheat problem on high temperature heating surface which happens on the ignition initial stage of supercritical units, we use the numerical simulation method to simulation calculate the smoke's temperature of high temperature heating surface on the ignition initial stage and analyze the main factors, , which have effects on the smoke temperature in furnace outlet, and then evaluate the tube temperature of the heating surface.In practical application, some power plants use the brown coal. In consideration of the characteristics of the coal, such as high moisture, coarse pulverized coal, we perform experiments to research the tiny-oil ignition technology for burning brown coal by analyzing the effects of output to different oil sprayer,primary air pressure, wine speed and pulverized coal concentration on ignition characteristics. Based on the research, we make proposals about the reasonable combination of influencing factors on burning the pulverized coal, which can provide references for optimizing the burners'operational parameters and start-up of boiler.
